In designing and building of Control Panels JR Power are very careful in the selection of enclosure used, ensuring always that the recommendation matches the application.
The degrees of protection are currently EN60 529 IEC 529.
Enclosures are generally constructed of high quality metal with the required paint finish applied, whilst in extreme conditions where excessive water, or even continuous submersion in water, heavy duty PVC is used.
- IP 65 & IP67 enclosures are available
Perhaps IP Code characteristics are more commonly recognised and by quoting the previous EN/IEC numbers, customers may be assured that the IP code numbers are recognised.
